GTC Management was formed in 2001 when several utility brokers merged into a larger company to offer procurement and broker services to the corporate business market.
GTCs head office is located in Hartford, Cheshire and has now expanded its nationwide presence by recruiting representatives in major UK cities.

Gary Owen
Co-founder and Former professional footballer, Gary played for Manchester City, West Brom & Sheffield Wednesday as well as representing England.
Gary has also built a successful career as a fine art dealer and also presents The Legends Football Show on 105.4 Century FM. His communication and networking skills have contributed greatly to building GTC’s impressive client list.
Gary spends a lot of his spare time split between helping local Charities and playing Golf and other sporting activities.

Kevin Parker
Kevin had previously been Credit Manager for a Steel Stockholding company, Sales Office Manager for part of the Bowater Group and Commercial Director for a Corrugated Packaging Company in the north west.
Before joining GTC he was Box Office Manager at Manchester City FC.
In his spare time Kevin watches Manchester City home and away and is The General Secretary of their Official Supporters Club with a worldwide membership of over 5000 covering 70 Branches. He also is a volunteer on a local phone Helpline based in Central Manchester.

Ian Withers
Ian is a Non-Executive Director and has been involved with GTC since it was formed and his impartial advice has been an important part of the growth of the Company.
Ian has been in the Motor Trade with a Ford Dealership (G Hodson & Sons) for over 30 years which includes a large Accident Repair Centre and Mechanical Repair Group. He is married with 2 boys aged 16 and 12.
Ian has also branched out into the Property market with properties stretching from the North of Scotland to Devon.
Hobbies include watching football, fishing, reading and going to the gym.

David Birch
Former GB international swimmer, David has been at Oxley Threads Ltd over a period of 25 years and currently holds the position of Managing Director. In October 2003 David completed a management buyout and the team have successfully transformed a loss making company into one of the most profitable thread companies in Europe, delivering products to 43 countries worldwide.
Recently, Oxley Threads invested in a computer software company, namely Postureminder Ltd, which develops software to help computer users maintain healthy working posture whilst operating their computers.
A Non-Executive Director of GTC Management Ltd, David offers a wealth of knowledge to the management team by offering objective strategies to help develop systems and a stable business structure.
David enjoys the odd game of golf, and keeping fit during his leisure time.

Julie Green - Business Development Manager
Julie joined GTC in 2003 as an Administration assistant and having helped implement new systems to help respond quickly and effectively with an ever changing Utilities Market is now Business Development Manager. Julie has developed an excellent working relationship with clients and suppliers alike and has her finger permanently on the pulse of the energy market.
Julie is married with two children and fills her free time by playing crown green bowls in both local and national competitions.

Karen Joy - Major Account Manager
Karen joined GTC in 2004 as the Company continued to grow as assistant to Julie Green. As growth continued the need for a Major Account Manager was evident and Karen was perfect for this role. Her attention to detail being an important and essential element in her selection for this position.
Karen is married with 2 young children who take up most of her free time with their sporting and musical interests.
